Music and children have always filled my life and my soul.  I was born into a large, musical, Mennonite family.  I grew up in a rich tradition of family singing in Lancaster County, PA.

As an adult I have been surrounded by music and children. My husband Dick and I had three children by birth, then went on to foster parenting and adoption.  Our family now consists of seven adult children, their significant others, and nine grandchildren whom I am absolutely crazy about.  In addition to mothering, I spent over twenty years as music teacher at Manheim Christian Day School and as worship leader at Grace Community Fellowship in Manheim, PA.

In 2009 Dick and I moved to State College, PA to be near our son Anthony and his family.  I have since made these music class DVDs with Anthony’s professional assistance.  I also serve as pianist/choir director at Fillmore UMC and as praise and worship leader at Houserville House of Hope.
